“Really?”
Mariela nodded. “Really, why would I lie about that?”
Lennon agreed, “Okay, call me after shopping, and I’ll pick you up.”

Laughter filled the room.
Half an hour ago, while chatting, the topic shifted to Mariela getting drunk and acting wildly, which escalated quickly.
