“Yes,” Lauryn said in a high–pitched voice, “She didn’t even come to greet you first when she arrived. Why did she go chat with others? She simply doesn’t have any respect for you.” 

Bella was furious. “Mariela has no respect for elders. She is not a lady. It’s amazing that your mother said she was knowledgeable and 

reasonable.” 

Lauryn smiled triumphantly as she said softly, “Bella, don’t be angry. Your health is the most important.” 

Bella gently patted Lauryn’s hand and said, “Lauryn, you are the most filial and caring toward me. After all, you are my family.” 

Lauryn said with a wider smile, “Bella, I’ll stay with you for the rest of my life, okay?” 

Bella smiled and looked at her.“Silly girl, you will get married. How can you possibly stay with me for your whole life? I also want you to be with me forever, but you will get married.” 

Lauryn thought, “I can accompany you for a lifetime if I marry Lennon.” However, Lauryn did not say 

this sentence. 

Lauryn coquettishly said with a sweet smile, “I don’t want to get married. I just want to accompany you.” 

Bella burst into laughter. 

Just then, Lennon and Mariela saw Bella. After saying a few words to the person they were talking to, they walked over to this side. 

Lauryn said, “Bella, they came.” 

Bella snorted.“They finally noticed me.”
