Mariela took a deep breath and closed her eyes. When she opened her eyes again, they were icy. “Lauryn, you did it on purpose, didn’t you?” Lauryn was best at pretending to be innocent. She pouted pitifully. “Marie, it’s clear you bumped me just now. Why did you say I was intentional? This is your place, so how could I intentionally bump you?” 

Caylee and Fiona also saw Mariela walking over. 

“Lauryn, cut it out.” Fiona pushed Lauryn rudely.“We all know you’re jealous of Mariela. You deliberately spilled a glass of red wine on her to embarrass her in public.” 

Lauryn’s eyes instantly welled up with tears, “Why would you say that?”

Lauryn took a few steps and stood in front of Bella, grabbing her arm with a look of grievance. She sniffled and said, “Grandma, they ganged up on me and bullied me.” 

Mariela sneered and couldn’t bear it anymore. She said in front of Bella, “With Bella protecting you, who can bully you?” 

“Grandma, look at her,” Lauryn had a lump in her throat and tugged at Bella’s sleeve. 

Bella angrily said, “Mariela, don’t push it!”
