Fiona looked at Lauryn with interest and crossed her arms. “Someone is feeling guilty and scared, right?”

Fiona laughed heartily, “I didn’t specifically mention you being guilty, Ms. Schneider. You took it personally and looked so anxious.”

Bella spoke again, “Look at you. You don’t look like a lady of a wealthy family at all. Lauryn accidentally dirtied your dress, yet you can’t let it go. I’ll compensate you for the dress on behalf of Lauryn. We’re family. There’s no need to make a big fuss by going to the screening room.” 

Fiona rolled her eyes at Bella and muttered to herself, “The old bitch always bullies Mariela. She didn’t allow Mariela to call her grandmother at the family banquet, and now she wants to make peace because they are family. Are you kidding me?”
