Mariela would tell her best friends everything. When she felt wronged at the Stark family dinner, she immediately ee and Fiona.

Deandre was not in the banquet hall at the moment. He was outside in the garden talking business with some important clients. He had no idea about the commotion happening over here. 

Angelica caught the flu a couple of days ago and was on a drip at the hospital. Haleigh was by her side and couldn’t attend the banquet.

Mariela suggested checking the surveillance footage, which was reasonable. But you kept blaming her for being relentless and making a big fuss. I must watch the surveillance footage today. I can’t let you bully my wife in front of me.” 

Lauryn was shocked, and the word “wife” pierced her heart deeply. 

Lennon defended Mariela so much! 

He called Mariela his wife before they were engaged. How could he do that? 

Bella’s chest heaved with anger, “Lenny, you were a member of the Stark family. Why do you support her?” 

Lennon tightly held Mariela’s hand, confidently met Bella’s eyes, and spoke seriously, “I’ll always support my wife. No one can change it.” 

“You! You! You!” Bella covered her chest, so angry that she couldn’t even speak properly. 

“Lennon, stop it. Grandma has a weak heart. Don’t upset her,” Lauryn said to Lennon. 

Lennon chuckled and hit the nail on the head, “If you didn’t cause so much trouble, she wouldn’t have gotten so angry.” 

Lauryn was speechless and her heart was filled with anger and extreme frustration. 

“Alright, that’s enough. Let’s go to the screening room,” Mariela said coldly. 

At the end of the banquet hall, there are three elevators on each side, totaling six. Each elevator can carry fifteen people at a time, allowing a total of ninety people to be transported. 

Mariela exclaimed, “I hate people slandering me. If you are interested, you can come with me to the screening room to watch the surveillance footage.”
