Mariela blurted out, “Isn’t that very disadvantageous for you? Lenny, be careful when dealing with him!” 

Lennon was stunned for a moment, and a warm current flowed through his entire body. 

He held Mariela tightly, “Marie, I am fine. I am just worried about you. You are the most important person to me, and I am afraid he might harm you in order to get to me.” 

“Harm me?” 

“Yes. Dealing with me might be difficult, but you are my weakness. If he goes after you, I’m afraid…”

Mariela held Lennon tightly and said, “Don’t worry about me. I will take care of myself. You sent two more bodyguards to protect me, right? So, everything will be fine. Besides, this is not Italy. It’s not within Nikolas‘ sphere of influence. He shouldn’t have the capability to cause trouble in America, right?” 

Lennon furrowed his brow, “He has people in America too. His people kidnapped Angel on the day of the engagement ceremony.” 

Lennon repeatedly reminded her, “Wherever you go, always bring your bodyguards.” 

“I know.” 

They cuddled on the sofa for a while, and then the doorbell rang. 

Lennon stood up and said, “I ordered a meal.” 

Mariela smiled and asked, “When did you order? I just got hungry.” 

“When I left the hospital.” 

“So thoughtful.” 

Lennon ordered the best dishes from a five–star hotel nearby. 

Mariela glanced at the logo on the bag and curiously looked at Lennon, “I thought they didn’t offer delivery service?” 

Lennon smiled and opened the lunch boxes one by one, arranging the food nicely. “They will deliver it if you want.” 

Mariela looked at him skeptically, but quickly realized the hotel didn’t offer delivery service for ordinary people, but Lennon was not ordinary. 

Mariela sat down at the dining table and her eyes lit up as she picked up the fork. 

She was starving. She didn’t have breakfast because she was sleeping in the morning, and when she woke up, she had missed lunchtime. 

A lot of dishes were on the table. 

They were all Mariela’s favorites. 

The restaurant was known for its expensive prices and small portions, but the taste was truly great.
