Zack was sweet, and Taryn couldn’t resist his charm. After a few times with him, she fell in love with him. 

Later, Juliette heard from her friends that Zack looked tall because he wore thick–soled elevator shoes, with several layers of height insoles inside the shoes. 

Taryn’s family ran a company, and she opened a high–end women’s clothing store, so she was rich in the eyes of ordinary people. 

After being with Taryn, Zack stopped working in the club. He moved into Taryn’s villa and lived with her. He had nothing to do all day except sleep and eat. Occasionally, when Taryn wasn’t around, he would flirt and sleep with female internet celebrities. He spent Taryn’s money on other girls. 

Juliette imitated Taryn by covering her mouth and giggling, “You finally broke up. Zack cheated on you so many times. I genuinely feel sorry for you. I heard he even hinted that you should buy him a Ducati.” 

Taryn remained silent with a long face. 

Juliette continued to say, “I heard it is not cheap. It costs dozens of thousands of dollars. I can’t understand it. It’s just a motorcycle. Why is it so expensive? Do you think it’s worth it? I heard he used to date a female internet celebrity who was popular lately. He acted single and dated her, but he got caught. I’m happy that you broke up with him. Good job!” 

“Cheers!” Juliette raised her glass and clinked it against Taryn’s glass. She had a mocking glint in her eyes. 

“You’re still a bit green to compete with me.” 

Juliette sipped her drink and pondered silently. Taryn’s weird attitude toward her indicated that the people in their circle were making fun of her behind her back. She was determined to win Jaime’s heart and prove they were wrong! 

On Monday, Mariela went to the law firm for work. 

Andrew had prepared the arbitration application and evidence materials for her case. She was going to submit them to the Social Security Administration today. 

Once the materials were reviewed and approved, the hearing would be held at the American Arbitration Association. 

Mariela found Lennon’s Bentley Continental too flashy, so she usually drove a more low–key BMW to go to the court or meet with clients. There was no parking space in front of the Social Security Administration, so Mariela parked her car in the nearby open–air parking lot.
