Ever since Taryn found out about Mariela’s identity, she had spoken ill about Juliette to her friends behind her back many times. 

However, she wouldn’t say this in front of Juliette. 

They still looked like good friends. 

Taryn patted Juliette’s shoulder and comforted her, “Juliette, don’t call yourself that. In my opinion, Mariela is a joke. We all saw how much Jay adored you when you returned to the country. How many times has Jay cheated on Mariela? She’s a real joke!” 

Juliette smiled and seemed to be in a better mood, “You’re right. Mariela is a joke.” 

Taryn took a sip of tequila and said with a smile, “Juliette, I heard Mariela has found a new boyfriend now. Doesn’t that mean you and Jay can be together now?” 

The bar was dim. Juliette’s face looked gloomy. She pursed her lips, and her eyes gleamed with coldness.
