At the Stark’s villa. 

Sitting on the living room sofa, Bella flipped through a stack of photos, murmuring to herself, “Now, the Wright girl has such lovely poise… And the second Green girl–what a pretty little thing! Oh, look at Miss Phillips here! Freshly minted master’s graduate from Harvard University, with that bookish charm. She’s definitely growing on me.” 

Bella looked up with a smile and said to Lennon, “Lenny, take a look at these photos and see which one you like.” 

Lennon’s eyes were dark and he was absent–minded. 

Just now, he exchanged a glance with Marie in the garden. She looked super pale, and her lips had no color at all. Was she sick? 

“Lenny.” Bella raised her voice, the smile fading from her face. “I was talking to you. What are you daydreaming about?” 

Lennon pulled his thoughts back and looked up.“What?” 

Bella put down the photos, feeling a bit upset. She adjusted her silk shawl and said calmly, “Kara Phillips just graduated with a master’s degree. I saw her a few days ago. She has a gentle personality and is very beautiful. The day after tomorrow, you and your mother should visit the Phillips family and get to know Kara.” 

Lennon sat on the sofa, with a gloomy look in his eyes.“I am busy.” 

Bella was unhappy and frowned at him.“You’re not available even during the holiday? 

“You’ve been busy for a year. Take a few days off for the holiday. Visit the Phillips family with 

your mom. 

Lauryn felt uneasy when she heard that Lennon would go on a blind date. 

Just when Lauryn finally got rid of Mariela, Bella was in a hurry to arrange a blind date for Lennon. 

He had just broken the engagement with the Logan family. 

Lauryn affectionately linked her arm with Bella’s and softened her voice as she said, “Grandma, Lenny had just broken the engagement with the Logan family. Now, you’re letting him go on a blind date with Kara. If this gets out, others will gossip behind his back.” 

Shayla chimed in, “Yeah, it’s not like Lenny is unwanted. Which wealthy ladies in New York wouldn’t want to marry him? You don’t need to worry about it.” 

Bella glanced at Lennon with displeasure in her eyes and said, “I’m not afraid that no one wants him. I’m just afraid that he still has feelings for someone he shouldn’t.” 

Shayla pouted and glanced at Bella and Lennon. 

Shayla wondered, “Turns out Bella doesn’t approve of Lennon being with Marie.
