Royce always said she liked bringing up old grievances, but after all these years, that issue from back then had never been solved. It was like a thorn in her heart, an obstacle she could never get past. 

After her anger subsided, a sense of grievance filled her heart. Tears welled up in her eyes as she sat alone on the sofa in the living room, crying until her eyes were swollen and red. 

The loud argument from earlier in the living room had been overheard by one of the maids who was working nearby.

The maid nodded gently.“Yes.” 

Gibbs’s face became gloomy, and a hint of anger flickered in her eyes. “That’s too much!” 

Bella didn’t like Mariela, but she couldn’t tolerate such a serious crime like kidnapping.
