When Angelica was first rescued, she was unconscious. 

The accompanying doctor performed a quick checkup on Angelica. Fortunately, she had only fainted from hunger. 

The doctor administered glucose, and she woke up shortly after boarding the helicopter. 

She was terrified. 

She huddled in her seat, trembling, her arms wrapped around her knees. Her small face was pale, and her deer–like eyes were filled with fear. 

A ruggedly handsome young man under Dustin’s command gave Angelica a strange look and then turned to Dustin. “Dustin, who is this little girl? Why did you have to rescue her personally?” 

Dustin shook his head. “I don’t know either. Mr. Stark didn’t say.”

young man’s name was Felix Kane, and he was one of the mercenaries on the mission to rescue Angelica. 

Despite being only seventeen, Felix had already undergone nine years of professional training. He had never failed a mission, and

Angelica looked up at him, the fear in her eyes fading. 

She recognized this man. 

He was the one who had rescued her from that dark dungeon. His arm had been injured, saving her. 

Seeing Angelica’s timid demeanor and thinking of her ordeal, Felix felt a pang of pity. He pulled a piece of fruit candy from his pocket and offered it to her.“Kid, want some candy?”
