The fountain of blood dying Leo's white shirt stole the air from my lungs, I was startled to see him groaning in pain.

"Laura, take Zoe out!

My dumbfounded gaze fell at Henry, who shouted to garner my attention.

"I have caught Melody. Call the police officers now."

I moved quickly after coming back to the real world and picked up Zoe, who lost consciousness after seeing blood. Melody was wriggling in Henry's strong arms, fighting hard to set herself free. My brother had already snatched her gun and threw it away.

Her maddening screams alerted the police officers outside, they came in after arresting the goons. I swiftly requested Officer Smith.

"Please call an ambulance. Leo is bleeding!"

I didn't know the reason for his gushing blood until the police officer examined his wound and gasped. He ordered his subordinates to take Leo to that hospital.

"We have a GSW patient. Be quick!"

As Zoe didn't have any physical wounds, his swift recovery calmed my soul. I thanked God for blessing us. Meanwhile, Leo's assistant, James, arrived at the scene, his panicked gaze was looking for his boss.
