The butler was leading Flora to her room with a warm smile. "Ms. Flora, my name's Zhang, but everyone calls me John. Feel free to do the same. The master is off at the Enforcement Division and won't be back until later tonight. Your room is all set up, so make yourself at home. If you need anything, just let us know, no need to hold back."

John was all friendly-like, "The Gilbert family isn't big on strict rules. The young folks here are pretty chill, though they can be a little—" He cut himself off abruptly.

Flora followed his gaze and saw a bunch of teenagers swaggering their way with an air of mischief.

"Uh, Ms. Flora, let's head this way!" John quickly suggested, clearly wanting to dodge them, and steered Flora in the opposite direction. But just as they turned, the group sprang forward with surprising agility, blocking their path.

"Hey, Uncle John, why do you always dodge us?" one of them teased.

"Yeah, it really hurts our feelings," another chimed in.

John just sighed, "......"

"So, you're Flora?" The redhead leading the pack eyed her up, "Up for a little showdown?"

John's nerves were on edge, "Guys, don't mess around. Ms. Flora's new here and doesn't know our ways."

He was basically pleading with them not to start anything.

"Really? But we heard she took down Lillian in one move. We’re curious to see that in action." The redhead, Jacob, nodded at Flora, "So, are you game or not? The Gilbert family has this thing where newcomers have to spar with us. Once you do, and we agree you're cool, you're in."

Since when was that a rule?

Flora raised an eyebrow, intrigued.

She had been itching for some action.

"Jacob, the master specifically said Ms. Flora is a special guest. Cut it out," John was on the verge of panic, worried about how Flora, seemingly a novice, could hold her own against them.

"Well, are you in or out?" Jacob was fearless, seemingly daring the world.

His nose felt like it was shattered!

"Jacob, you got knocked out by a girl in one punch, haha!"

"And you said you'd last a minute, but you didn’t even last ten seconds!" The teenagers around laughed uproariously.

"What do you know!" Jacob grumbled, getting up while still clutching his nose, "Let's see you try!"

"Alright then! Flora, show me what you got!" Another young guy stepped forward, brimming with confidence, "No way a girl takes me down in one hit—"

Before he could finish, he let out a cry.

He crashed to the ground, clutching his chest, and coughed up blood.

His ribs were shattered!
