The saying goes, "You're soft in the hands of those who give you gifts and soft in the mouth of those you dine with." After accepting such a generous gift, can we really keep blocking the door?"

"Cough, cough... So, what’s our next move?" Ethan asked, swallowing hard, clearly overwhelmed by the extravagant gift. "We've taken their gift; do we still block the groom from coming in?"

"Miss Crimson, we'll go along with whatever you say," Kaylee said, her eyes darting around uncertainly.

Crimson quietly slipped the envelope into her coat pocket, throwing a disappointed look at her friends. "Just a few million, and you're all sold out? Who here doesn't have millions these days?"

With a flourish, she announced, "Let them in. This was just a warm-up. We've got more tricks up our sleeves!"

Aisha was at the door, and at Crimson’s cue, she swung it open.

Ray, who had been impatiently leaning against the door, stumbled forward as it opened, almost crashing into Aisha.

Naturally, he could have caught himself.

But seeing Aisha, Ray let himself fall forward, as if on purpose.

Aisha, startled, stepped aside with a deadpan expression.

"How heartless, not even catching me," Ray joked, his eyes twinkling as he balanced himself.

"Get lost," Aisha shot back, glaring at him. "Can't you be serious for once?"

"Never," Ray grinned mischievously. "But since you asked, maybe I could—ow!"

Ray's antics were cut short as Connor, fed up with him blocking the doorway, gave him a swift kick and strode into the bridal suite.

"First question: the bride's measurements."

"34, 23, 40," Connor replied without missing a beat.

"Second question: the cheesiest nickname for the bride." Connor paused: "Babe."

Rafael rolled his eyes. Typical, smooth-talking guy!

"What would you do if you upset the bride after you're married?"

"That’s not gonna happen," Connor declared confidently. "I’ll never give Flora a reason to be upset. In our house, she’s the boss, no questions asked."
