"Are you not on his side since you're his uncle?" Fiona asked, raising an eyebrow.

"You're a young lady, and girls should be treated with care."

Jackson's words were light and easygoing, but they made Fiona blush deeply when they reached her ears. She quickly composed herself, though. Noticing her rare silence, Jackson glanced at her through the rearview mirror, seeing the subtle blush on her ears, and chuckled softly.

Louise strolled toward the school, surrounded by a group of devoted followers, chatting and laughing. Just before they entered, one of the girls tapped Louise on the shoulder.

She looked surprised at the custom luxury car parked at the entrance, covering her mouth in awe. "Check out that car! I wonder who's got the cash to roll up in something like that. Not many here could pull that off."

"Yeah, except maybe for Louise's boyfriend, Nash. Who else could it be?"

Hearing this, Louise straightened up, feeling particularly pleased with herself. But she had to keep up appearances and act humble.

"Come on, don’t jump to conclusions. It could be anyone. There are plenty of rich kids here. It's not necessarily him."

Though she said this, she internally scoffed. She couldn't imagine anyone being wealthier than Nash. Her words were just fishing for compliments to feed her ego.

The girl who spoke was cautious, watching Louise’s reaction. Offending Louise could mean trouble for her family’s business.

Seeing the tension, Alison quickly backtracked, "Oh, just ignore me. She must’ve pulled some trick to be with him. Anyway, it's just a ride to school. You and Nash are the real deal."

This only made Louise angrier, her face turning red.

Sensing the situation, Alison added carefully, "Fiona slapped Nash. She won't have an easy time in class. Nash's friends won't let her get away with it. We don't even have to intervene—they'll definitely teach her a lesson."

Hearing this, Louise's expression eased a bit. Thinking it over, it made sense. Nash was a big deal at school, and many people wanted to be in his good graces. Fiona slapping him in front of everyone meant her days were numbered.

She smirked, watching Jackson drive away, finally spotting her chance to mock Fiona. As she approached, a crowd of boys burst out, hands full of snacks and breakfast, eager to please.
