Connor strode over to the counter and handed over a list: “Please prepare the medication listed here for me.”

The medic quickly handed Jillian her medicine and then proceeded to prepare Connor’s. Only then did Connor notice Jillian and the girl. 

“Your name is Jillian?” 

His gaze lingered on her for a moment. He had noticed the photo and name on the door when he had escorted Flora back to her dorm, 

Jillian hadn’t expected Connor to initiate a conversation with her, let alone remember her name. She found herself holding her breath, nodding somewhat stiffly. 

His eyes swept over her injured hand, and considering she was Flora’s roommate, Connor said indifferently, “Be careful during training.” 

The medic handed him the prepared medication, and with that, Connor left with long strides. Jillian watched his retreating figure, her heart racing. The swaying curtain, accompanied by the crisp sound of the chimes, stirred ripples in her heart. 

The girl carried the medicine for Jillian, accompanying her back to the dorm, continuously saying, “Jillian, the Head Instructor remembers your name! Maybe he likes you!” 

Jillian pressed her lips together: “I doubt it… It’s the first time he’s seen me, how could he
