The manager hesitated, casting a wary glance at Brianna. The boss had made it crystal clear: no members of the Brimer family were allowed in.

Flora, with a calm demeanor, said, "Don't worry, I'll handle Ray."

In truth, Flora's arrival was a godsend for the manager. He'd been fretting over what to do if Brianna refused to leave and caused a scene. Now, with Flora taking the lead, even if Ray found out, she'd be there to support him.

"Alright, alright," the manager said, forcing a smile. "Shall I take you to the private room you and Mr. Connor usually use?"

"Any room will do," Flora replied.

"Understood."

The manager, with an air of deference, led Flora to the private dining room. Ivan and the others exchanged awkward glances at Brianna, whose face was flushed with rage.

Everyone knew Brianna had suggested dining at the Grandeur Hotel to humiliate Flora. But now, she couldn't even get past the door. Meanwhile, Flora, with just a few words, had the manager respectfully ushering them in.

"Come on, let's go eat. We're starving here," Ivan said, pulling Brianna along with Maddox.

The manager escorted them to the best private room, and Brianna's eyes grew even redder. She'd never been in such a top-tier room before!

Her brother had stayed in Cedarvale, just like Flora. Did they know each other from back then? But still, why did Flora deserve such special treatment? Even she, the sister, hadn't experienced this!

It was Maddox and the others' first time at the Grandeur Hotel, and everything was so new and fascinating. They wanted to touch everything but held back out of respect for Brianna.

"Let's order, it's on me," Flora said, handing them the menu.

"But we were supposed to treat you. How can you pay? I'll cover it. You all order," Ivan insisted.

"You think I wanted this?" Flora shot him a look.

Who could've guessed she'd run into a Brimer family member by sheer coincidence?

Ray clicked his tongue in annoyance.

"Brother, why are you even talking to this woman?" Brianna fumed. "Don't you know she's the reason Uncle's family is in jail?"

Ray looked at her, her face red with fury, and motioned for her to come closer. "Come here."

Brianna begrudgingly walked over, still seething.

When she got close enough, Ray bent down, whispering in her ear with a low, warning tone, "Stay away from Flora. Don't be like the rest of the Brimer family, always looking for trouble."
