Leaving the restaurant, Brianna was still a bit lost in thought.

Ray had only said one thing to her: "Don't mess with Flora; she's out of your league."

Brianna couldn't wrap her head around it. Flora was just a girl from some small town called Cedarvale. What was so untouchable about her? Plus, it wasn't like Brianna had gone out of her way to stir things up. Flora was the one who got her cousin’s family thrown in jail. Flora had started the fight with the Brimer family.

"Ivan, give me your account details. I'll transfer the money later," Ivan said.

Flora shook her head, "No need."

"That won't do. This meal was supposed to be on me. Besides, it's not right for a lady to pay when she's out with a guy."

"It's really okay. My fiancé is good friends with Ray. I can just put it on his tab, no need to pay."

"You're engaged?" Ivan and Maddox looked genuinely surprised.

Flora was just a freshman, and already engaged?

Flora nodded, her eyes softening at the mention of Connor.

Brianna, who was watching the whole scene, suddenly asked, "Who's your fiancé?"

"Connor," Flora answered simply.

Brianna burst into laughter. "You say your fiancé is Connor? That's rich!"

"You think just because you know my brother and heard Connor’s name from him, you're good enough to be Connor’s girlfriend? Let me tell you, you're not even fit to tie Connor's shoelaces!"

Flora stayed silent. Despite her cute looks, Brianna had a fiery temper.

"What if Connor really is my fiancé?" Flora asked calmly.

The training session wasn’t until four in the afternoon, so everyone had time for a nap. Flora went back to her dorm.

When she got there, Eilies and Cynthia were still awake, chatting on their beds.

Seeing her return, they both jumped up. "How was your first day in the Computer Science department?"

"It was okay," Flora replied.

Cynthia asked, "We've asked around for you. There's a girl named Brianna in Ivan's team. She's got quite a reputation. Did she give you any trouble?"

Flora went to the water dispenser to fill her cup. "She did."

Cynthia got excited. "See! I told Eilies she would! Just think about it. She's always been the only princess in the team. With you there, how could she possibly be nice to you?"
