"If you guys like, just take this client over yourselves. Don’t be sour!"

Before this, Lindsey Juhl would not say much to them just because everyone would talk anyway. If she cared about what others said about her, she would have been depressed by now.

The more she put up with it, the more they took it for granted. She could not bear it any longer, so there was no need to put up with their gossip anymore.

"Hmph! I don't know what you're so proud of. After you took Mr. Lee as a client, you came in the next day with marks on your neck! We can see it clearly."

Lindsey was not bothered by the remark and refuted, "Seems like you know how Mr. Lee behaves. Why, have you tried? Just because you have nothing to do doesn't mean that others are so free like you! If you’re done here, you can go."

"I'll see how long you can stay proud!"

"You won’t get to see the day I’m not proud. Anyway, my business has nothing to do with you!"

Lindsey could not care less about her lady-like image and rolled her eyes as she said this.

She was not in a good mood, so it was nice to find someone to let off some steam. She felt more comfortable afterward.

The people who were gossiping earlier lowered their heads and went about their tasks.

They acted as if nothing happened.

Now that her client had been stolen from her, Lindsey could only continue looking for new clients. Her eyes were staring at the computer screen for such a long time that she felt a little dizzy.

Lindsey then found a hotel near her office and stayed there since she could not return to the Guggenheim mansion anyway.

At this time, Zayn Guggenheim was sitting in a daze in his office, thinking back to everything that happened this morning. He did not have the mood to work all day.
