Shaun heard Mrs. Wendy sobbing and hurriedly asked, "Mrs. Wendy, what's wrong? Is something wrong with Lindsey?"

Yesterday, he heard people say that the Guggenheims seemed to be looking for someone. He had a bad feeling then, but he was afraid that he was overthinking it, so he forced himself to wait until today to call Lindsey. However, he could not get through to her mobile phone, which was why he called the Guggenheim mansion.

"Mr. Juhl...our Madam…she’s missing..." Mrs. Wendy said as tears fell from her cloudy eyes. "Do you know where she went? She’s still pregnant..."

Shaun's mind buzzed and worry took over all of his senses for a moment. His concern for Lindsey had long become a habit that was instilled in him.

When Shaun thought of the last time Lindsey was sent to that kind of place and sold like an auction item, Shaun felt suffocated. Not to mention, she was pregnant.

After hastily hanging up the phone, Shaun grabbed his jacket and ran out of his office.

The secretary saw Shaun running outside and hurriedly shouted behind him, "Mr. Juhl, Ms. Wendell said she’s on the way up."

Yvette Wendell had come to see Shaun so many times before that his secretary was familiar with her. Shaun turned a deaf ear to it. He did not even hear what the secretary said.

Shaun rushed out and was about to leave the office building when he collided with the girl who was walking inside. Seeing that the girl almost fell, Shaun casually pulled her back, lowered his head, and hurriedly apologized. He did not even see the girl's face properly.

Yvette looked at Shaun’s back that was leaving in a hurry. She still had a stack of documents in her hands that Callum asked her to bring to Shaun.

Seeing Shaun’s expression, it looked like something big had happened. Yvette’s heart tense up and followed after him.

Shaun drove his car out. By the time he got to the traffic light, his mind had calmed down a little. He then drove in the opposite direction of the Guggenheim mansion.

Behind him, Yvette saw him and immediately followed.

"Shaun...what’s going on with you?" Yvette whispered to herself. Although she told herself not to care, when she saw Shaun like this, she still could not help but feel tense.

Shaun did not even notice that there was a small car tailing him. Luckily, Yvette drove a normal car that was not one of those limited edition sports cars that Callum owned, so she was inconspicuous.

The black car quickly merged into the flow of traffic and looked like it just happened to be heading in the same direction.

......

When Zayn and his people got back to the shore, Quentin, who had rushed over, sent those addicts to the police station. Soren looked at the dark circles under Zayn’s eyes and felt worried. "President, you should go back and rest. I’ll take care of the rest."

After a moment, Zayn waved his hand and said, "Expand the search range. If we can't find her before nightfall, then detain Allie Wilford. They must pay the price for touching my people."

Zayn strode away and left the busy port. Looking at his back, Soren thought that Zayn was still the same man who carried the entire Guggenheim empire on his shoulders.

There was a strange emotion that surged in Soren's heart. He felt that with Lindsey gone, the little bit of emotion Zayn had also disappeared. Zayn would become more like a cold-blooded, ruthless money-making machine.

When Soren thought of Lindsey, another face popped up in his mind.

Shaun did not want to make things difficult for the old man. He forced a smile and said, "I’m looking for Ms. Allie Wilford. Can you please ask her to come out and see me?"

He clutched his car keys tightly in his hand while waiting. Outside the Wilford Residence, Zayn's people also noticed Shaun’s sudden appearance.

Shaun had no intention to enter and the housekeeper did not invite him in because Soren barging in last night traumatized him. This mansion would not be occupied from tonight and the old housekeeper would also return to his own home, so he did not want to cause any unnecessary trouble.

The housekeeper went in to inform Allie of her guest. A moment later, Allie came out.

Allie was dressed in an ankle-length coat. Her face was as pale as a corpse. She sized Shaun up with disdain in her eyes and asked rudely, "What the hell do you want from me?"

"Was it you?" Shaun glared at Allie and took a few steps closer.

"What?" Allie pretended to be confused. She looked at her perfectly manicured nails. With a slight force, she gently peeled off one piece of diamond that was glued to her nails.

Shaun stepped forward and grabbed Allie's wrist. His eyes were gloomy as he said, "Lindsey’s missing. Was it you?"

There was a subtle pain coming from her wrist, but Allie did not care. “Why is it that all of you always come looking for me when Lindsey’s missing? It’s fine if it’s just Zayn, but you? Shaun Juhl, what right do you have?"

Allie used her other hand to poke at Shaun's chest. "How obsessed are you that you come running here as soon as you find out that Lindsey’s missing?"

The mockery in her voice was very obvious. Every word that came out of her light pink lips was incredibly vicious.
