In just a few days, Sophie was able to get out of bed. That was mainly because she did not want to lie in bed anymore. Liam had also been taking care of her every day.

Sophie was relatively calm about moving to a new place whenever she opened her eyes.

"The last manor I lived in was quite comfortable. I wonder how Lindsey is doing. I must have really scared her looking like that." Sophie was sunbathing in the garden with Liam and the maids. There was a hint of redness on her face for a while.

Hearing her mention Lindsey, Liam's gaze flickered. After a while, he replied, "Don't worry, it'll be fine. Just take care of yourself. Why do you care so much about others?"

Sophie gently slapped him to express her dissatisfaction with his words. "I’m friends with Lindsey! How can you talk like that?"

Liam's eyes were gloomy and uncertain. His arm around Sophie tightened. "Why? Do you like her that much?"

"Of course," Sophie answered without hesitation. "Lindsey looks like a particularly calm person, but at certain times there’s a hint of contradictory aggression in her. We get along very well."

To some extent, their personalities were quite similar.

After listening to Sophie's words, Liam casually said, “You’ve only known each other for such a short time. You’re just too gullible. What if she has bad intentions and deliberately approached you? Listen to me. Stop thinking about her in the future."

Sophie could not help but laugh. "I think you’re the one who’s overthinking it. There aren't so many bad people in this world. You have to trust my gut."

"Okay, I believe you."

This matter was so casually swept under the rug and they went about their routine again.

Sophie often came over to the seaside villa, but she rarely went out. After taking a few steps, she saw Andre walking over from the back.

Hostility flashed across Liam’s eyes, but Sophie had already seen Andre and it was too late for him to hide.

"Hey, isn't that Andre? Why is he here? Who's sick?"

After saying that, Sophie looked in the direction Andre came from and was puzzled. "Wait, isn't that the treatment room over there? Is someone staying there?"

Liam held her hand and said, "Yeah, a friend of mine lives there. Don't go near because he doesn't like to be disturbed."
