Terence turned his gaze to the woman sitting on the ground. His eyes were cold.

He pulled Ginny into his arm and subconsciously placed one hand on her belly as he asked gently, “Why didn’t you call me earlier?”

Ginny’s eyes turned darker when she felt his actions. Her pale face looked so stubborn as she pursed her lips and did not say a word.

Terence's chest suddenly rose heavily a few times.

Zayn and Shaun, who was following behind Terence, stood in front of Lindsey and Yvette respectively, and asked in unison, "Are you alright?"

Lindsey nodded at Zayn, while Yvette did not even glance at Shaun.

Terence's eyes narrowed. "What explanation do you want?"

"Elisa’s injured."

Behind her, Elisa probably saw that no one was helping her get a doctor and no one cared about her, so she suddenly howled frantically. "Ginny tried to kill me! It was her and her two accomplices! Dear Lord, what have I done wrong?"

Lindsey saw Jared's brow furrowed in impatience then waved his hand to signal the maids. "Send the Second Madam for treatment."

Besides looking at Elisa for a brief moment in the beginning, Terence did not bother to look at her again. Instead, he held Ginny in his arms and looked at Jared without an interest.

Jared also looked at Terence. From the beginning, he did not care much about Elisa's injury.

"Why did Elisa come over to my house for no reason? Second Brother, I think you should be the one to give me an explanation."

Terence's double eyelids were deep. When he raised his eyes gently like this, it somehow made him look unusually cold, but the corners of this man's lips were clearly curled up.

"This is not a reason for Ms. Young to lay hands on her." Jared looked calm.

Terence abruptly laughed out loud. He turned to look at Ginny. "Tell us what really went on."
