Shaun wanted to rip Zayn apart. When Quentin said that, he became furious and suddenly closed in on him. “If he’s a man, he should have some responsibility. All he does is avoid us and act all secretive. What a coward!”

Quentin subconsciously touched a cufflink on his sleeve and nodded. "Okay, okay, I’ll relay the message to him. See ya, bro."

These two siblings said the same thing. Quentin could already imagine Zayn’s wrath later.

Quentin was put in such a difficult position because he had to endure the wrath of three people. He was only paid a meager assistant’s salary, yet he was doing three jobs.

He felt sad and sorry for himself, but when he got downstairs and saw the black Cayenne parked outside the hospital, he still ran over.

The man in the car was wearing headphones and closed his eyes. He sensed Quentin coming and opened his eyes. He had very profound double eyelids.

"Madam recovered well. The Young Master doesn’t look frightened and traumatized anymore. He even looks cuter." Quentin tried to suck up to his boss.

Zayn nodded wordlessly, then took off his headphones.

Quentin knew that Zayn had heard their conversation earlier. Although Quentin repeatedly told himself that he should not talk too much, he still could not resist and carefully spoke, "President, Madam wants to see you."

"Mm." The man's voice rang out with an undefined emotion. "I won’t see her."

"Then, what about those tabloids? Should we suppress it?" Although Denarius had not resumed operations for the time being, they still had the power to suppress unwanted news.

Zayn did not like appearing in the public eye, but to Quentin's surprise, Zayn did not care this time.

"Whatever, just let it be."

Quentin could not understand Zayn lately. He obviously came to the hospital every day, but he never went up. Seeing Zayn cast his gaze out the window, Quentin stopped talking.

Upstairs, Shaun went in and saw Lindsey clutching her phone, staring into the void.

"It's all fake." Shaun went up and took her phone away. “I got someone to verify it. The pictures are forged. Stop looking at it.”

Lindsey looked up at him and forced out an ugly smile. "Brother, don’t lie to me."

If it was fake, how could Zayn let such a photo exist? The way Quentin was stammering when he saw the photo also proved that it was real.

Shaun sighed helplessly. “It might just be an act. Denarius is still in crisis and has yet to resume operations. Even we could guess that S.P. was behind this, so Zayn must be even more perceptive."

"Brother." Lindsey lowered her eyes and still kept that smile, but it was saddening to see her like this. "That's Zayn Guggenheim. He’s such a persistent and proud person. If he really suspects that it’s S.P. Corporation, he would’ve declared war on them openly."

This was the Zayn she knew, proud and arrogant, so why would he put on an act for the sake of the company and another woman?

She understood him because she loved him so much, which was why she felt heartbroken.

Lindsey could not even convince herself, let alone listen to the advice of others.

Shaun knew that only Zayn could get Lindsey out of this slump.

"Don't think about it." Shaun patted her shoulder. “You’re still not fully recovered. Yvette’s getting discharged today. Do you wanna see her?”

Callum just rolled his eyes.

Lindsey could not help but giggle. Her bad mood was lifted. This pair of Wendell siblings were truly living treasures.

"Lindsey, come in." Yvette got Callum to move over and pulled Lindsey to sit next to her, then she held Dezi’s small hand. Yvette took care of everyone in the room but treated Shaun like he was invisible and ignored him.

Shaun touched the tip of his nose and felt a little frustrated, but he was treated like this all this time, so he was used to it.

He nodded to Lindsey and said, "You guys have fun. I'll go first."

Lindsey looked at him, then at Yvette. These two people still had not made up yet, so she could not say anything.

Yvette did not look at Shaun until he was at the door and was about to go out. She stole a glance at him just as Shaun abruptly turned around again.

Their eyes met and the atmosphere was a little awkward.

Shaun spoke first, "After some thought, I'd better stay for a while." He walked back in and took a seat nearest to Yvette.

Lindsey gave Shaun a weird look and did not understand why he suddenly changed his mind.

However, her doubts were soon answered.

Just as Shaun sat down, Finn Moeller suddenly appeared at the door of the ward with a big bouquet in his arms and a bright smile. He looked very spirited and said, “Everyone’s here! It looks like I’m late to the party.”
