Even Lindsey could not help but laugh. She reached out to receive Dezi into her arms. Just then, the elevator arrived and Little Dezi waved goodbye to Shaun.

Dezi was so adorable that no one could get angry with him.

Lindsey did not put him down and carried him back home. She could not help but ask, "Dezi, why didn’t you go with Uncle Shaun? He’s so nice to you."

Dezi wrinkled his little nose and reached out to hug Lindsey tightly.

Lindsey frowned at him, pretending to be in distress. "Then what should I do? Mommy was thinking if I should send you to Uncle Shaun so that you can be his child. After all, isn’t it sad that Uncle Shaun is living alone?"

Feeling the little one in her arms hugging herself tighter, Lindsey was finally satisfied and opened the door, then walked in.

She did not even notice that there was a small camera on the door opposite the hallway that was recording all of this.

At Denarius’ top-floor President's Office.

Quentin took the coffee made by the assistant and gently placed it on the table. He could not help but glance at Zayn who had snapped the pen in his hand in half.

He sighed and placed the documents in front of Zayn, then inadvertently saw Zayn’s screen. ‘Oh, Shaun’s carrying Dezi with Madam laughing at the back. Those that didn’t know them would think that they’re a cute little family. No wonder he’s so angry...’

Quentin silently signed a cross on his chest and prayed for himself that Zayn’s wrath would not burn him.

However, once he put down the documents, he already heard Zayn’s devilish voice, "What the hell is this?"

Zayn threw the document that Quentin gave him about half a minute ago. "This is the final result of Harrisburg's merger and acquisition that has been going on for more than half a month? Did I spend so much money every month to hire you guys to do such brainless things for me to see?"

This was actually the proposal made by the planning department. Quentin just read it once and felt that it had greatly exceeded expectations.

However, one could never guess the boss's mind. He could never understand what Zayn wanted.

Zayn’s voice became more stern. Quentin silently lowered his head and dared not refute because he knew that it would only make Zayn angrier.

Quentin really thought that it was useless to pray because his wishes never came true.

"Why are you still standing here? Hurry up and get them to modify it now!" Zayn knocked on the table and looked at him coldly.

Quentin hurriedly reached out and picked up the document. He smiled brightly and said, "President, please don't be angry. I'll take it down immediately and ask them to change it."

After saying that, he hurriedly fled this explosive zone.

He could never imagine how scary it was for a man who insisted on divorce to look at his ex-wife through the door’s surveillance camera every day after their divorce.

Quentin took the documents in his hand back to his office. He would wait until Zayn was in a good mood before taking it to him again.

However, he was not sure how long he had to wait for Zayn’s mood to improve.

It was already late, so Zayn turned off his laptop. He felt like a creep, but he simply could not help himself. He needed to pay attention to Lindsey's every move.

"Oh, no...I wanna eat milk buns!"

Lindsey laughed in her heart, but her face remained unchanged as she took her hand. "Then do as you’re told."

After putting Sieben to bed, Lindsey turned off the lights in her room and gently closed the door. She was afraid that Sieben would feel scared without anyone sleeping with her, so she did not lock the door.

At this hour, Dezi was usually sleepy. Lindsey thought that when she went over, Dezi would already be lying on the bed with the covers on, ready to sleep. However, when she got to his room, she found that Dezi was standing on a small stool, looking out the window.

It seemed that since that night, Dezi liked to look out the window every night.

"What are you looking at again?" Lindsey went over to the window and took a look. She also looked down and saw nothing. When she looked up, she found that the moon tonight was quite nice.

"Dezi, are you looking at the moon? Mommy will tell you a story of the moon tonight, okay?" Lindsey touched his cheek.

The little one nodded and gently jumped down from the small stool. He then put the stool back in place.

Lindsey did not help him. After Dezi got into bed, she went over and sat by the window, casually pulling out a children’s book from the bedside table and spoke in a gentle voice.

Finally, the two children were put to sleep. Lindsey rubbed the back of her neck and was ready to leave, but she inexplicably walked to the window again.

She looked in the direction that Dezi looked at earlier. It was empty down there, only a streetlight.
