Chapter Summary: Chapter 531 Think Too Much – Forced Into Marriage: My Husband’s Too Mean by Internet

In Chapter 531 Think Too Much, a key moment in the Romance novel Forced Into Marriage: My Husband’s Too Mean, Internet delivers powerful storytelling, emotional shifts, and critical plot development. This chapter deepens the reader’s connection to the characters and sets the stage for upcoming revelations.

Zayn probably just got himself into a situation that he had no confidence in and was afraid of dragging them down with him, so he forced her to get a divorce. Not loving her and Dezi were all just excuses.

If he did not love her, why did he talk like that? Why did he look at her like that?

At this distance, Lindsey could clearly see Zayn’s eyelashes. His eyes were like a bottomless lake that was immeasurably deep.

The two of them looked at each other and Zayn seemed to be stunned by Lindsey's words. When he reacted, he immediately smirked mockingly.

Zayn avoided Lindsey's gaze and looked down at their intertwined hands. All of a sudden, he flung her hand away and pulled away from her.

"You think too much." Zayn's sharp voice was like a razor that cut Lindsey’s heart. "Or did you drink too much today?"

He looked extremely sarcastic. After Lindsey stood firm with the support of a wall nearby, Zayn reached out and pulled Lindsey's chin again. His eyes were so sharp that they pierced Lindsey's chest. "You’re dressed like this and couldn’t wait to find me after you just finished talking to another man. Are you that hung up on our divorce?"

Lindsey hated this side of Zayn the most. The redness on her face suddenly receded and she became pale. Her lips also turned white.

However, the incident at the parking lot lingered in her mind. Lindsey instinctively reached out to hold Zayn's wrist. "You’re lying! If you don't care about me, why would you care about what I wear or who I talk to? Why would you keep looking at me all night long, and how could you still look at me with those eyes just now?"

Lindsey was clearly drunk, but her brain was spinning faster than usual, and she could see the situation clearly.

After being yelled at like that, Zayn was a little stunned and let go of Lindsey.

Even if he let go of her, Lindsey was still holding onto him.

Zayn looked down at her fair hand that was holding his and said word by word, “The only thing connecting us is being Dezi’s guardians. That’s all we are.”

After that, he pried Lindsey's fingers away slowly until he got to the last finger. He paused, then shrugged her off. "I don't know what gave you these illusions, so let me just make it clear to you. I don’t have any other reasons and I'm not at all concerned about you, so stop this wishful thinking and misunderstanding."

In the end, Zayn no longer looked at the despair in Lindsey's eyes and turned away. "Lindsey Juhl, if you continue this, you’ll just cause me a lot of unnecessary trouble. Please have some self-respect."

He rarely called Lindsey by her full name, at least in Lindsey’s memory, not for a long, long time.

That memory seemed to pull her back to the days when Zayn hated her. It was probably an understatement to say that they were incompatible. If it were possible, Lindsey felt that Zayn hated her guts so much that he just wanted her to disappear forever.

Back then, that was how he used to call her, Lindsey Juhl.

Her name coming out of Zayn's mouth automatically carried indifference and disgust. Lindsey just opened her mouth and could not bring herself to say a word until the man disappeared from sight.

Lindsey's throat was so dry that she gulped down the glass of water on the side, which made her feel much better.

Mrs. Wendy was already busy in the kitchen. When she turned around and saw Lindsey standing in the living room, drinking water with her messy hair, she was shocked and said with a slight reproach, “Why are you awake so early and didn’t make a sound? Hurry up and brush your teeth, then come and drink this tea.”

Lindsey downed the glass of water and went in to wash up. When she came out again, there was a mug on the table with a weird-colored liquid inside.

However, when Lindsey picked it up, she was repulsed by the smell and asked, "Aunt Wendy, what is this?"

Mrs. Wendy's voice came out from the kitchen, "You have a headache, right? Drink this and you'll feel better."

Lindsey wanted to lie and say that she did not have a headache, but she bizarrely kept quiet, picked up the mug, and took small sips of the strange-tasting concoction inside.

When Mrs. Wendy came out, she saw that Lindsey drank every last drop of the liquid in the mug. ‘Good!’ Mrs. Wendy thought, but she frowned and felt that Lindsey was a little odd.

However, this was not the only thing that Mrs. Wendy found strange today. When Shaun sent the drunk Lindsey home last night, Shaun said that Lindsey could take the day off, but Lindsey woke up early, ate breakfast hastily, and went to the office early. She obviously did not take what her boss told her seriously.

At this period, all the departments in Hemera were extraordinarily busy and Lindsey was overwhelmed by all kinds of work throughout the morning.
