Shaun could not understand what the butler was saying, so Soren translated for him. Shaun's brow furrowed tightly.

"What do you mean by that?" Shaun looked at the butler and asked in English.

The butler understood what Shaun said. He smiled faintly at Shaun and replied in fluent English, "Our Master's guests are only Mr. Guggenheim and Ms. Juhl."

This time, everyone present understood.

However, Lindsey was in the car and could not hear what the people outside were saying. She could only see that these people were threatening Zayn and the others, but when this gray-haired old man appeared, the bodyguards let them go and Zayn went inside alone.

Then somehow, the butler said something that made Zayn stop in his tracks and look back.

It was like she was watching a silent pantomime. Lindsey was dying of anxiety, but Zayn would not unlock the car door for her.

Lindsey slammed on the car window in frustration. When she saw Zayn looking over, she shouted exasperatingly, “*sshole! Unlock the damn door!”

Although Zayn could not hear her, he did not need to look carefully to know what Lindsey was saying.

However, he did not intend to let Lindsey out of the car. He looked at the old man in front of him and thought that the polite words he just said were utter bullsh*t.

"I'll go in alone. They can stay." Zayn’s voice sounded pleasant when he spoke in Danish. Soren could understand what he said and his expression changed when he heard this.

The butler still had a kind face. "Apologies, but Ms. Juhl must also join us."

"My apologies too." Zayn smiled wickedly. "Ms. Juhl won't be coming along."

"Then perhaps Mr. Guggenheim won't be able to see the child you're looking for today."

The butler spoke in an unhurried voice. Zayn could not remember the last time he was threatened like this and laughed in exasperation.

Zayn could have just rushed in there, but he did not because he was only concerned for Dezi’s safety, so Zayn was still patiently negotiating with this old man.

"Give me a reason," Zayn said, "I came to get my son. Am I not enough?" His powerful aura as he stood there made him seem extremely oppressive.

For a moment, the butler thought that he saw Arthur in front of him and forgot what he intended to say. He froze for a few seconds before finding his voice. "The Master wants to meet the person who adopted the boy you call Dezi Juhl."

This name sounded a little awkward when the butler said it.

Zayn did not want to babble with him and said coldly, "I'll go alone."

After he said that, he walked towards the opening of the villa’s gates. However, after walking a few steps, he turned to look at Lindsey in the car.

Lindsey’s voice sounded from his phone, "Zayn Guggenheim, if you go in alone today, I’ll die right in front of you!"

Everyone’s eyes fell on the car. Lindsey was holding her phone in one hand while her other hand held a silver lighter.

Zayn's pupils suddenly constricted.

Lindsey could not hear what was going on outside, but that did not stop her from guessing what was going on. Zayn was about to go in alone and leave them all out here.

His face was well-defined with a high nose and deep eyes. His eyes were a light brown and his chin was slightly raised. He looked a little haughty and with his aloof expression. His far taller than average height also made this aloofness more obvious.

The man was wearing a navy blue shirt, which made his complexion look even fairer in contrast. His black suit pants also made his legs more slender.

He was like a work of art.

Lindsey paused in her footsteps and widened her eyes. This face pulled her memory back to a certain scene. Several uniformed servants came in and out of the house, but none of them made a single sound.

Zayn noticed Lindsey's strange behavior and tilted his head slightly to look at her. "What's wrong?" He did not lower his voice, so everyone could hear him clearly.

The man sitting over there was Arthur Evans. He looked like he had just noticed the two of them coming in and lifted his indifferent eyes. He swept over Lindsey, then his gaze fell on Zayn.

This time, it lingered a little longer.

"Please, take a seat," Arthur said with a deep and pleasant voice.

Surprisingly, Arthur spoke English, but it had a slight accent which indicated that English was not his native language.

Zayn pulled Lindsey to take a seat. His posture was more haughty than the man on the other side, "You’re Arthur Evans?"

The man opposite him frowned slightly because of Zayn's attitude, but he still nodded. "Yes."

"We've met before." Lindsey looked at Arthur. Although she had only met him once, she remembered this face very well.
