The two of them met at a restaurant with a lavishly decorated private room. When Lindsey got there, Ginny was already waiting for her inside.

Ginny did not look like a woman who just gave birth, but there was a pastel blue baby carriage beside her. Lindsey smiled before she said, "Why did you bring him here?"

Lindsey asked while she walked over to pick up the little one from the stroller. Ginny held the stroller and smiled. Her voice was as gentle as usual, “I brought him here to see you.”

The smile on Lindsey's face suddenly froze.

So did Ginny really decide to go back to Germany with her baby? Was that why she brought her precious little Andy with her today?

The little guy in Lindsey’s arms had big eyes and a slightly straight nose. His small mouth moved when he saw Lindsey and he was not at all afraid of people. Even though he was still so little, his features were the same as Terence Moeller’s, and he looked like a mini Terence.

Lindsey carried Andy and took a seat next to Ginny. She played with his stubby fingers while she looked at Ginny seriously.

"I hope you’ll reconsider this," Lindsey said with a serious expression, "You’re living so well here. Ginny, I know that you don’t want the Moeller family's money, nor do you want any power. Tell me honestly, what exactly do you want to do when you go back?"

By the end of it, Lindsey looked like she was questioning Ginny. She had never shown this side of herself to Ginny before. Ginny turned her head to the side to avoid Lindsey's gaze.

Seeing her evasive attitude, Lindsey's heart sank.

"I just want to go back." Ginny dropped her eyelids. There was faint darkness at the corner of her eyes, and she looked very stubborn. "I must go back."

The little one in Lindsey’s arms tugged on Lindsey's hair, pulling her scalp. Lindsey held the small hand that was the size of her palm and asked, "Do you have news of Terence?"

Ginny raised her head all of a sudden.

Lindsey knew she had guessed correctly.

"Then you’re just going back like that? What can you do? Andy’s still so young. Are you willing to let your child join you in danger?" Lindsey became agitated. Luckily, they were in a private room, so no one could hear what they were saying.

The only thing that contrasted Lindsey’s nervousness was Ginny’s nonchalance. "I have a sense of propriety. I won’t do anything that I’m not sure of."

Lindsey did not know what Ginny’s limits were, so how could she be so confident?

However, Ginny looked determined, so Lindsey’s words were stuck in her throat and she did not make a sound.

"Lindsey, I'm sorry," Ginny suddenly said. Her eyes were deep and heavy like she was suffering from unspeakable pain. Even her gaze was astringent.

Lindsey's heart inexplicably clenched and said dryly, "Don't be like that...you don’t have to apologize to me."

Ginny’s hand that was on her knee tightened and loosened repeatedly. In the end, she rested her hand on her knee and smiled. "I just feel sorry because I’ve troubled you so much and now you’re worried about me."

After all, the Moeller family's current living heir appeared to be only Jared Moeller. The old man had been wise all his life, but he probably never thought that his children would end up fighting to the death like this.

Lindsey asked when Ginny was planning to leave, but Ginny only ambiguously said that she would leave in the next few days and did not tell her an exact time.

She reminded Ginny to tell her once she decided on a time, then the two of them went their separate ways. When she got home, Sieben and Soren were already back.

Mrs. Wendy cooked up a feast to celebrate Sieben’s discharge and it was simply tantalizing.

After dinner, Lindsey and Soren helped Mrs. Wendy to clear the table. Lindsey was placing the plates into the dishwasher when Soren suddenly spoke beside her, "Ginny Young looked for you?"

His tone was a bit nonchalant, and the way he addressed Ginny was different. He would usually call her “Ms. Young”. Lindsey paused in her movements and nodded. "Yeah, she's going back to Germany."

Soren did not say anything. Considering the relationship between Lindsey and Ginny, there were many things that he could not say to her.

Lindsey saw that Soren had something to say. After throwing in the last plate, Lindsey started the dishwasher and turned to look at Soren. "What's wrong?"

Soren did not dwell on it for too long. After all, Lindsey was not a silly child and could think for herself.

"She’s not as...weak as she seems." Soren deliberated on his word choice. "How did she come back from Germany alone with a baby? Madam, you wouldn’t be able to imagine what she encountered during this time."
