"ARE YOU happy now?"

Yuno was just getting a canned coffee from the vending machine— there was one on every floor— when Bambi approached him.

With hostility, of course.

Had I known I would be attacked again, I should have just waited outside the Guide Chief’s office.

How can I ruin something that is already ruined from the start?"

"And what do you mean by that?"

"Team Leader has no intention to treat me as a part of the team," Yuno said bluntly. "I don’t need to be sensitive or quick-witted to know what the basic workstation you prepared for me meant. I heard your message loud and clear. My Esper did, too."

Bambi frowned. "You sure like flaunting that Gayoon Hyung is your Esper, don’t you? Can’t you do anything on your own?"

"Team Leader, I don’t have pride. Even if I’m a grown man, I’ll use Esper Ki Gayoon-ssi to solve my problems if it will make my life easier."

"And I hope you stop picking on me while I’m cooperating with the government, Team Leader," Yuno said bluntly, cutting Bambi off accidentally. Oh, well. He continued anyway. "Even if I die or disappear, it won’t make Esper Ki Gayoon like you magically. You’re wasting your time hating on me when you should be begging Esper Ki Gayoon for his forgiveness."

Bambi’s face turned red— Yuno wasn’t just sure if it was still from anger or embarrassment this time.

Other Espers would react the same way Ki Gayoon did.
