Chapter 80: THAT LEGENDARY CLASS

["NO hospital... just toss me... to a soft bed..."]

That was what Noh Yuno said before he completely passed out.

Hence, Ki Gayoon had no choice but to bring his exclusive Guide to the penthouse suite. Of course, he booked the most expensive suite in the most expensive hotel in Busan.

But he didn’t expect he’d be bringing an unconscious Noh Yuno to their room.

Why did this punk faint after guiding me?

It wasn’t like it was the first time something like this happened.

Guides who have a low matching rate with a high-ranking Esper usually faint during or after a Guiding Session because their energies don’t match. Like how my previous Guides would faint each time they tried to guide me. Even Gu Inkyu would almost faint even though he’s an A-Class Guide.

But none of those Guides coughed up blood.

So, what Noh Yuno did earlier was strange.

Was it even Guiding?

Gayoon would admit that he liked whatever Noh Yuno had done to him earlier, but he didn’t like its side effects on his Guide.

Since Gayoon couldn’t ask Noh Yuno, he called the only person who could probably answer his questions.

<"Yoonyoon, it’s strange for you to call me first~">

"Noh Yuno coughed up blood and fainted after "Guiding" me," Gayoon said, going straight to the point. "I’m not even sure if it was "Guiding" since it felt different than usual. But I’m sure you know what I’m talking about, Moon Noa."

<"What did Yuyu tell you before he guided you?">

"He told me "it" was the reason why he couldn’t guide the naturally awakened S-Class Espers at the same time. What was he talking about?"

<"Yoonyoon, the fact that Yuyu mentioned it only means he’s ready to talk about it. Why don’t you just wait for Yuyu to wake up? He’ll answer all your questions then.">

"I wouldn’t have called you if I had the patience to wait for Noh Yuno to wake up."

<"Then I’m sorry— you won’t hear Yuyu’s story from me. Just be patient and wait for your Guide to wake up, Yoonyoon.">

"You’re asking too much from me."

The sly fox laughed on the other end of the line.

"Is Noh Yuno really alright? He told me not to bring him to the hospital," Gayoon said, brushing his fingers through his hair. "But... I don’t know. That punk... it’s the first time I saw him that pale."

<"Yuyu is fine. He just needs to rest. As long as gets enough sleep, he’ll recover in no time.">

That was a relief to hear.

<"I’ll assume Yuyu can’t go to work tomorrow, so I’ll ask one of my staff members to take his shift. You can tell Yuyu I’m giving him a day off.">

"Alright. I have no intention of making the punk go to work tomorrow anyway."

<"Yoonyoon, take care of our Yuyu, hmm?">

"Whatever."

Gayoon then ended the call and threw his phone on the bed— on the side not occupied by Noh Yuno.

The punk didn’t even flinch.

He’s really out of it.

Gayoon put his finger under Noh Yuno’s nose, and he was relieved to see that the punk was still breathing.

Does this punk enjoy giving me mini heart attacks?

Haaah.

Gayoon clutched his chest tight, wondering why it still hurt even after he was assured that Noh Yuno was fine.

Is this just me, an Esper, reacting to my exclusive Guide’s well-being?

This was ridiculous.

No wonder Bambi used his fellow Guides as "weapons" against Espers.

Gayoon plopped down on the sofa chair next to the bed while watching Noh Yuno sleep peacefully.

Gayoon got up from his seat, and then he touched the hem of Noh Yuno’s hoodie. "I’m not going to do anything to you," he said. "I’m just going to change your clothes."

He then pulled up Noh Yuno’s hoodie...

... only to stop when the punk’s flat, white, and smooth stomach greeted him.

Gayoon couldn’t believe that the sight of another man’s stomach turned him on.

Noh Yuno’s body was enticing, to say the least.

It’s just the Esper in me talking, and not me as a person, okay?

"I told you that giving me blue balls would have been the better revenge as a joke," Gayoon complained while taking off Noh Yuno’s hoodie as carefully as possible. "But I didn’t expect you to take it seriously, punk."

"Yeah," Moon Noa said, answering Haru’s question while munching on the Japanese candies that the dethroned Crown Prince sent him. "It’s cute how Yoonyoon cares about Yuyu. They’ve only known each other for at least a month, and yet Yoonyoon seems to be attached to Yuyu already."

Talking to Japan’s dethroned Crown Prince via videocall was already a part of Noa’s nightly routine.

So, here he was now.

On the bed, lying down on his stomach while facing the laptop.
