Chapter Fifteen
“Watch what you say, Hammad! Or else I’ll file a complaint against you with aunt." She punches him in the stomach.
"You cruel girl, rude girl, and crazy girl! Who hits their brothers like this?! Also, call me brother! I’m older than you.” Hammad dramatically yells faking anger. Frowning, rubbing his stomach he glares at her.
"Why should I call you brother, cow?!” She sashays towards her room.
Hammad whines, stomping his foot. He runs after her, telling her to call him brother.
Sahaan ignores him as she puts the boxes in her closet drawer. She locks it, keeping the keys so she can give it to her grandmother. She doesn’t want to give Tanzeen or her aunt a chance to call her a thief.
"Let’s go somewhere." Hammad jumps on her bed, balancing his head with his hand. She rolls her eyes at his antics. He is 24, but behaves like a four year old.
"Nope! I have loads of chores and all. You can go alone or even better, with that jazzy girl.” She teasingly smiles at him.
"Haha, very funny." He gives her a blank look before marching out. Sahaan shakes her head at him, smiling at his acting.
She leaves her room to call Ahmed, like her grandmother told her to. His room is two rooms away from her room. She knocks on his door.
“Come in.” Ahmed's muffled voice reaches her.
