When Heston teleported into a filthy alley following Cassidy's faint presence, he saw her pinned to the ground.

A man's hand was clamped tightly over her mouth, and his other hand pulled at her new dress.

A flash of scarlet flared in Heston's eyes as filth energy erupted around him. He darted forward and delivered a brutal kick to the man.

The man had no time to react. As he was sent flying, the sickening sound of bones echoed through the alley. He crashed into the wall with blood pouring from his nose and mouth.

Heston's blood-red eyes remained fixed on the man. He was about to advance when Cassidy scrambled to her feet and grabbed his leg. "Mister!"

Her face was bruised, and her carefully braided hair was in disarray. But despite her terror, she was unharmed. She'd known Heston would come to save her.
