Scott had been feeling particularly smug over the past few days, thanks to the photos he had posted from his visit to Zaprath School—especially the selfie with Bianca and her striking five tails.

Many of his cosplayer friends messaged him, asking him what kind of cosplay event it was or where they customized their hyperrealistic fox tails and dog ears. Some from his school even invited him to join their friend group.

Though complacent, he knew he couldn't reveal the secrets of the demonic school as Shannon's loyal "underling".

Scott was texting on his phone as he alighted the car. When he entered the villa, he heard that Shannon had returned. He immediately left the conversation, tossed his phone aside, and bolted upstairs to see her.

However, before he could do so, Hector, sitting in the family room, stopped him. "Come over here."

His voice sounded different from usual and was laced with a hint of seriousness.

As if grabbed by the neck, Scott obediently made his way to the family room. To his surprise, Kai was present while Hector looked grim.

At Hector's request, Kai had briefly recalled everything that had transpired over the last few days. The latter barely knew anything about Benjamin's arrangement, but the former filled in the blanks himself.

After learning the whole story, Hector roughly understood Shannon's dejectedness.

As the third party, Benjamin had done nothing wrong. But regardless of whether he had, the truth was he had hurt Shannon in the process. That, itself, was a mistake.

Without probing further, Hector instructed his assistant, "Book me the earliest flight to Jamborough tomorrow morning."

Scott quickly chimed in. "I'll tag along!"

Anyone who dared to upset Shannon would get a direct warning from Scott that the Jensen family was not to be messed with.

Hank, too, wanted to go along, but he knew this wasn't his fight to take the lead on. He would just be there to support.
