Lexie couldn't help but cover her face.

He casually reached up, plucking the bats off of him one by one and crushing them in his grip.

He had heard of Crisean zombies but never anything like the Unmelting Bone. Judging by the energy emanating from Heston, he was on par with the strongest members of their vampire clan.
