Just as Shannon was flung into the air, the woman's long, snow-white fox tail shot toward her at stunning speed. It coiled tightly around her waist before she could crash into the ground.

Before she could react, the woman across from her finally moved again. She reached out a hand toward Shannon and beckoned for her to come closer.

With that subtle gesture, the tail wrapped around Shannon moved quickly and brought her to the woman.

As everyone nervously held their breath, the woman seemed to stare at Shannon for a long time, unmoving. Then, she reached out and embraced Shannon into her arms.
