Juniper evidently knew what the case was about, and his expression became conflicted. Still, he didn't hide anything and explained to Percy, "Mr. Gray here has previously asked Windsong Monastery for some help with a problem he encountered, but it's rather difficult to handle.

"The monastery wasn't able to resolve the issue for him, and I doubt I can help him today." He sounded frank. It looked like he didn't mind showing the viewers how "incapable" he was.

He briefly paused before adding, "But if we're able to find Ms. Rosalind, the one who provided the crew with those shielding talismans, she should be able to solve Mr. Gray's problem."

He had to admit that he had an ulterior motive for saying this. It would be a great opportunity for him to see Rosalind in the flesh.

Juniper had asked around yesterday about the source of the shielding talismans. When he got to Fred, all the latter said was that he'd asked a friend to get the talismans for him. Still, Juniper's instinct told him Fred was lying.

At that, Connor stepped forward and said, "We don't need anyone else to help. She's perfectly capable of solving our problems."

He pointed at Shannon. Everyone followed his finger, and their expressions turned a little weird when their gazes landed on Shannon.

She'd long since expected this, so she looked unruffled. She didn't even bat an eye and stood there without any intention of responding to Connor.

"You guys know each other?" None of the people present were fools, and they knew how to read the room. Olivia could immediately tell that the Grays and Shannon were acquainted.
