All of the Jensen children of Shannon's generation had millions in their bank accounts. They could easily afford a house of their own. And yet, all three of George's sons and their families still stayed in the same house with him—because he didn't allow them to move out.

The cousins even felt a little envious of Shannon.

Adam had no clue what was going through his nephews' minds. He had anticipated Shannon's rejection and was prepared for it.

"If you truly don't want to move back into the Jensen residence, it's fine. I got us a villa at East Gardens last night. If you want, we can move into that place instead," Adam said.

He meant him, Shannon, and Hector.

If their branch of the family moved out, none of Shannon's cousins could continue to show her any kind of attitude or disrespect. Plus, he could also reestablish a closer connection with her.

Adam was serious about what he said.

Scott and the others, who were still trying to think of a way to secretly get a place of their own as well, were stupefied.

When Adam mentioned moving out last night, they all thought he was just saying that in the heat of the moment to scare them. Did he actually mean it?

He even got a house already!

Shannon didn't expect Adam to make the offer either. After all, when Hector first brought her home, he mentioned that it was the Jensen family's rule not to let the siblings move out if their parents were still alive.

Even though Shannon had been reunited with the Jensens, she didn't take that rule into consideration when she decided to move out. She never expected the Jensens to do anything as a result of her decision, either.

However, it was clear that Adam was doing this for her.

She couldn't bring herself to make a harsh rejection.

"You don't have to do that," she said. "You don't owe me anything."

And in the same vein, she owed him nothing as well.
