Alex's eyes lit up as he witnessed the strange scene unfold. There was surprise and joy on his face as he asked, "Is that where Eva is?"

Adam's eyes flickered slightly, and he pulled out his phone to relay the information to the police without wasting any time.

Linda, who initially had doubts about Shannon, felt all her suspicions vanish as she watched the hemp cord point toward a specific area on the map.

Her face was filled with urgency as she stared at the hemp cord that wavered and eventually hovered over Leese District in Seastone.

Shannon bent down and manually zoomed in on the map. The detailed layout of Leese District appeared on the screen.

The hemp cord began to trace the main roads on the map, but it stopped in place after moving for a while.

Both Linda and Alex exchanged confused glances and were unsure of what was happening. They looked to Shannon for an explanation.

Shannon thought about it and pressed her fingers against Linda's index finger to squeeze out another drop of blood that was absorbed by the hemp cord. But the hemp cord had just managed to move a little further after soaking more blood.

"Shannon, what's going on? Is Eva somewhere along this road?" Alex couldn't help but ask.

Shannon shook her head. "We're too far from Seastone. The detection range is limited although we're using Eva's biological mother's blood to trace her. We can just get a general idea of her location."

She drew a circle on the map and highlighted where the hemp cord had last stopped.

The tracing talisman worked by tracking blood relations, and though both Linda and Alex were closely related to Eva by blood, a mother's connection to her child was stronger. That was why Shannon had insisted that Linda cooperate.

But they were too far away. Even the blood-linked tracing method could just narrow the location down to a general vicinity. It wasn't precise like GPS tracking unless they brought Linda closer.

Unfortunately, it would take four hours to fly there, and the kidnappers could easily move to a new location.

Leese District was on the outskirts of Seastone with direct routes to several neighboring cities. The kidnappers had clearly planned this well. Not only had they chosen a place with easy escape routes, but they also discarded any electronic devices Eva might have been carrying to prevent tracking.
