Eddie's heart raced as if it might leap out of his chest as he saw Rachel inching toward his bed. He carefully covered himself with the blanket again and sealed his eyes shut, pretending to see nothing, despite his body shaking like a leaf.

Rachel naturally noticed his movements. She slowly floated toward his bed, stared at the shaking lump, and narrowed her eyes as if realizing something.

A playful idea sprouted in her mind, and she suddenly floated horizontally and loomed her ghastly pale face toward the gap in the blanket. If her theory were right, he would be scared out of his wits once he lifted his blanket to take a peek.

At that thought, Rachel suddenly found the joy of being a ghost. She hovered in mid-air, not expecting the person underneath the blanket to remain still for such a long time.

She lost her patience and decided to penetrate the blanket with her head. Yet before she could make out the situation under the fabric, a white glint flashed across her eyes before a fox-like claw appeared, grabbed her head, and yanked her out of the blanket.
