After watching the video, Leonardo was at a loss for words.

He had never expected that day to take such a turn. Ryan got injured because of Samantha, and she couldn't bring herself to just leave him behind. That was a choice that any normal person would make.

It wasn't as if Ryan got hurt and Samantha immediately rushed in to get involved.

This was all a misunderstanding on his part!

When Leonardo recalled all the things he had said and done to Samantha over the past few days, he was suddenly filled with regret.

She hadn't done anything wrong, but she had to swallow her hurt to appease him. Yet, he was still nasty to her.

Leonardo closed his laptop and leaned back in his chair. He tilted his head toward the ceiling as if that could keep his mind clear.

The next morning, Samantha was still groggy from sleep when she felt a chilly sensation on her back. It was even a bit cool and icy.

Her mind hadn't fully cleared yet. She reached out absentmindedly to scratch the spot, but someone grabbed her wrist.

"Don't move."

Her eyes snapped open. Staring at the unfamiliar surroundings, she finally realized she wasn't at home. She was at Leonardo's apartment!

She turned around to look behind her and saw that she was sleeping right at the edge of the bed.

Leonardo was crouched by the bedside, holding a cotton swab with ointment as he applied it to her waist.

During the accident, she had injured her waist. It wasn't serious, just a large bruise that only hurt when touched. She hadn't even bothered to treat it as bruises like this usually healed on their own with time.

She hadn't expected Leonardo to apply medicine for her.
