Leonardo coolly hummed in response without saying much else.

Monica quietly breathed a sigh of relief.

As he walked past the couch, his gaze landed on the handheld vacuum that had been thrown onto it. His brow furrowed slightly.

Seeing his reaction, she immediately rushed over to pick it up.

His voice was cold as he said, "This mistake shouldn't happen again."

Monica felt a bit aggrieved. She was already irritated by Samantha, and now, because of Leonard's so-called wife, she was being blamed for the mistake.

She couldn't take it anymore and immediately started defending herself. "It wasn't me! Mrs. Garrett put it there!"

"Her?"

"Yes, her!"

Samantha, who had been eavesdropping, tightened her grip on the doorframe. How could Monica be so shameless and actually report her?

Monica continued, "She was eating snacks on the couch yesterday, and crumbs fell into the cracks. I know you don't tolerate things like that, so I reminded her to clean it up and be more careful.

"But she barely did anything before giving up, leaving the stuff on the couch without putting it back where it belongs. I really didn't expect her to be so lazy."
