Leonardo's expression was cold, tinged with a hint of disdain. "If that's the case, then why did I hire you?"

Monica's face turned pale, but she was still defiant. After all, it was Samantha's mistake. Why should she bear the blame? At this point, she was just trying to shift the blame.
