Her novel Chapter 2

Luna packed her Bag with extra clothes, a jug of water, a face towel, and of course, some cookies. Kelly volunteered to train with her tonight, so she packed her things as well. Luna and Kelly went to the garage to choose what vehicle to ride and who will drive. "I mean, with a motorcycle, we can arrive there faster," Luna suggested, staring at her favorite motorcycle. "Yeah, but we have bags, I don't see any compartment on your motorcycle to put our bags in '' Kelly said in disbelief since she knows that Luna just wants to ride her bike. "touché," Luna said with a sigh. "how about your jeep?" Kelly suggested. "But I just got it cleaned, '' Luna replied with a pout. "Mhm, I don't care, let's just go, '' Kelly said and walked towards Luna's jeep. "You're driving by the way" Kelly said with a sly smirk before placing her bag in the vehicle and sitting on the passenger's seat. Luna rolled her eyes and grabbed the keys on the corkboard on the wall and walked towards her jeep. Luna placed her bag beside Kelly's at the back and sat on the driver's seat, she started the engine and went out the garage.

It took about 30 minutes to arrive at the building, and when they did, Luna and Kelly left the vehicle and grabbed their bags. They entered the building and Luna gave the keys to one of the agents for them to park her jeep in the garage underneath the building. They walked towards the elevator and went in. Luna pressed the button with a number 25 on it and they both stood there, listening to the boring music the elevator played as they went up to the 25th floor. Reaching the 25th floor, they left the elevator and went straight to the training room, where they saw Adrien already practicing a new gun. Luna and Kelly went into the locker room and placed their bags in their lockers. Luna went out of the locker room first since Kelly had to use the bathroom. Luna walked towards the table where her favorite weapons are and noticed that one gun is missing. She looked at Adrien and noticed that the gun he's using is hers. Luna rolled her eyes, crossed her arms and coughed, getting Adrien's attention. Adrien looked at Luna and gave her a sheepish smile, he earned a raised eyebrow from Luna. "oh come on, don't tell me I'm not allowed to borrow your stuƋ" Adrien said and lowered the gun while walking towards Luna. Luna smirked a little before grabbing her gun from Adrien's not-so-tight grip. "I'll let you borrow this in one condition" Luna said as she walked towards the area with metal boards shaped like a person. "and that condition is?" Adrien asked and leaned on the table with Luna's weapons on it. Luna pointed the gun on one of the targets and shot straight on the head then turned her gaze to the left and shot another target on the head within a second. As you can tell, Luna is an expert when it comes to this. "Learn how to use my gun properly" said and walked back towards Adrien and gave him the gun. Adrien showed a small smile and scoƋed before going back towards the shooting area to practice using Luna's gun. "What did I miss?" Kelly suddenly spoke from behind the table, making Luna flinch a little. "Nothing important" Luna answered and grabbed one of her knives and went towards another area with targets made of corks and boards. Obviously, the area is made for knives and blades. Kelly shrugged and went towards the area full of punching bags. Kelly wrapped her hands with a hand-wrap and started to punch the punching bag aggressively. They didn't notice that Ace, their boss, was leaning on the door frame, watching them train with a small smile on his face. He then locked his gaze at Luna and smiled wider. He's proud, proud of all of them, but most of all, proud of Luna. Out of the three of them, Luna is the most fragile, yet, the strongest person. Ace noticed that Adrien was watching Luna with a smile on his face. He knows that Adrien likes Luna, even though Adrien never mentioned it, it's a little obvious. And Luna is just blind. But Ace doesn't blame Luna at all for being blind, he knows that Luna is just scared to lend her heart to anyone, that's why she chose to close her heart shut anyone out who courts her, but, Ace also knows that someday, she'll open up, and he knows that her reason will be Adrien.

After hours of training, Kelly and Adrien got exhausted and took a seat on a bench in the training room. Theyjust sat there and watched Luna train harder, which caused Kelly to smile, and Adrien noticed it. "Why are you smiling?" Adrien asked. "Just look at her, training harder and harder as the time passes by. Thatjust shows how dedicated and committed she is on this job" Kelly said, lowering her voice so Luna won't hear her, but loud enough for Adrien to hear. Adrien nodded and looked at Luna as well, causing him to smile as well. I'l have the courage to telyou how muchIadoreyou someday, he thought. Luna shot her last bullet at the target and spoke. "You two can go ahead, I'll stay a little longer" she said before walking towards the table to use another gun. Kelly nodded and stood up; Adrien stood up as well. "I'll just ask Adrien for a ride home" Kelly said and grabbed her bag. Luna just hummed in response and went to the boxing area to practice her punches. Adrien and Kelly left to go home, leaving Luna in the training room. Luna's thoughts were clouded with rage and hatred. Or is it about John CrawfordandMarry Crawford'slostdaughter. Recalling the article they read earlier made her even more furious. She was punching so aggressively that despite the hand-wrap wrapped around her hands, her knuckles started to get bruised and bled. Luna started to shed tears and she didn't even notice it until Ace walked in and spoke. "Raging out again Ms. Luna" Ace said, trying to get Luna's attention. Luna just huƋed and stopped her actions, she gripped the punching bag tightly and placed her forehead on it, in a few seconds, she started to break down. Ace calmly walked towards her and gently grabbed her arm, signaling her to face him, and she did. She faced Ace and immediately hugged him, and of course, without hesitation, Ace hugged her back. Ace knows that Luna only shows this side of her to him, so he does his best to comfort her when she does. "They treat me like I'm no one, and now that I've left, they're trying to look for me? What the fuck do they want from me" Luna said between sobs. Ace rubbed her back and told her to calm down, and she did little by little. Ace broke the hug and cupped Luna's face, looking straight into her eyes. "They won't find you" Ace said, making Luna sigh and nod. "How about my ball of life stops crying and join me for dinner" Ace oƋered. Luna smiled, knowing that she's the ball of life Ace mentioned. "Okay" Luna said in agreement and grabbed her bag before walking with Ace towards his oƌce since he usually eats dinner in his oƌce. They entered his oƌce and Luna placed her bag beside the small couch in front of Ace's desk. DiƋerent kinds of food were placed on the table in front of the couch, Luna assumed that it's their dinner for tonight. Luna and Ace sat down and ate their dinner while talking about their day. After an hour, they finished eating. "I'll head home, it's getting late, you should head home as well Ace" Luna said while grabbing her bag. Ace nodded and smiled. "I'll head home in a few minutes. Have a safe trip" Ace said. "Good night" Luna said and left the oƌce. "Good night my ball of life" Ace whispered before cleaning up In his oƌce.
