"Don’t you dare to touch him!"

Ace gasped at the loud voice before hiding behind Dominic’s back.He crouched down and turned himself into a small ball.He clutched Dominic’s shirt tightly in his small fist.

"Stacey? What the hell is this behaviour?" Dominic asked with a deep frown.

He didn’t like how Stacey just barged into his room, without his permission.

On top of that she was acting as if she owned this place.

Her attitude was not acceptable to him at all.

"You think something is wrong with my behaviour? What are you doing?" Stacey asked with a mean frown as she invited herself in the room by herself and walked toward him.

She stood in front of him with a clenched jaw and hardened eyes.She glared at Ace which made him crouch some more.

"Stacey! You are scaring him!"

Dominic snapped at her in irritation while holding Ace’s little hands assuringly.

"What are you doing here with him, Dominic?" Stacey asked in irritation.

"That’s none of your business.What are you doing in my room without my permission?" He asked in a cold tone.

He didn’t like the interruption at all.

"Exactly what I am talking about! It’s your room.No one has the permission to come here, not even me and here you brought this rogue pup.Why?" She asked with a deep frown.

Stacey couldn’t take it anymore.

At first she had to bear that woman’s attitude and then Dominic’s ignorance and now this stupid pup is taking space in Dominic’s heart as well! This mother-son duo is getting on her nerves and it’s been hardly one day.

"Stacey, you are sounding ridiculous.He is hardly two years old and you are competing with him?"

Dominic asked as he was reaching the end of his patience.

If only she wasn’t, he would be Luna! 

"You can call it whatever you want but I don’t want him here.Throw him out of the room right now."

Stacey demanded while fuming.She couldn’t bear him there another second.

"What right do you have to order me that?" Dominic asked in an intimidating tone as he glared at her.

He didn’t like the disrespect she was showing him.

"I am the future Luna of this pack!" She said in a prideful tone with her chin held high.

"And I am the Alpha of the pack.So, keep your tone and eyes both down while talking to me."

He let out a small growl as the colour of his eyes flickered.

Stacey looked at him in shock.It’s the first time he used his alpha tone in her.It happened because of that stupid little rogue pup.

She looked down at Ace who let out a whimper in fear after hearing his growl.

He felt the negative energy.

"Fine.If you don’t throw him out of here, I will do the work!"

Stacey declared with gritted teeth before forwarding her hand at Dominic’s back where Ace was hiding.

"Stacey, what a-..!"

"I will break your hand if you dare to even think of touching him.I am not even kidding."

Everyone turned around to see Athena standing there with her canines half out.Her wolf was half in control.She really wasn’t joking when she said she would break Stacey’s hands.

Her mother instincts were high in alert and she can cross any limits to make her baby feel safe and protected "Mommy!"

Ace exclaimed as soon as he saw his mommy standing at the door.

He came out from Dominic’s back in a flash before running toward her.He jumped in her open arms before hugging her tightly and hiding his face at the crook of her neck.

"What did you just say?" Stacey asked with gritted teeth but for some reason she was trying to hold in her frustrations inside her.

"Exactly what you heard." Athena said in a cold tone while glaring at Stacey and Dominic.

"Stay away from my son.I don’t want YOU anywhere near my son.”

Even though she was talking to Stacey, her eyes were on Dominic who was glaring back at her as well.

She turned around to leave the room with Ace after giving him one last look.

"Did you just hear what she said?! How dare she! She is staying in my pack and dares to talk to me like that! Are you going to do anything about that?"

Stacey snapped while fuming as she looked at Dominic for an answer.

"Stacey, I don’t know what’s wrong with you but you are getting on my nerves.Please leave."

He said as he closed his eyes and pinched the bridge of his nose.He wouldn’t have tolerated her for so long if it wasn’t for…..! 

"Oh, now you find me irritating.Is it because of that rogue and her pup?"
