His heart and mind IN THE HALL 

"How strange?! Where did the beauty go suddenly?"

Clement asked to himself while looking around the party hall to look for Athena.

The party was on in full swing now while the important people of the pack was preparing for the ceremony.

The pack members and guests from neighbouring packs were dancing around and enjoying the party a lot.

When Athena ran away from his hold suddenly after receiving some call, exactly at the same time everyone was invited on the dance floor.

That’s why he couldn’t run after her even though he wanted to.

She got lost easily.

But she wasn’t going to let go of it so easily.

He was going to make sure to find her because he felt some attraction toward her which he never did for anyone.

"Excuse me, please make a way, please move away… I have to go-.."

He stopped on his track because someone blocked his way.

With a look of annoyance on his face, he looked up and immediately the annoyance was replaced with shock and a little bit of respect.

"A… alpha Dominic.Please accept my great wish for the very special day.I am honoured to join it.Thank you so much."

He said with a smile and a little submissive gesture.

But the look on Dominic’s face didn’t change.

When he first came, he was fuming in anger and he was still fuming at that moment.

He looked like ready to murder someone and for some reason, Clement was thinking that it might be him whom he wanted to kill.

"Clement."

Dominic muttered his name under his breath, with a small nod of acknowledgement toward him and Clement nodded back.

"You seem to be in hurry to leave the party.What’s the matter? Don’t you like the party or is it something else?"

Dominic asked in a taunting tone and Clement’s eyes widened in shock realising what was happening.

But he couldn’t understand if Dominic actually misunderstood him or he was making fun of him.

He won’t be surprised to know that he was making fun, he has lots of reason for Dominic to be angry at him.

Though he was not directly involved.

· "Alpha Dominic, please don’t misunderstand me.It’s nothing like what you understood.The party is great and I am enjoying it a lot.And I wasn’t leaving.I was just looking for someone."

He answered truthfully and that’s when Dominic’s expression changed.

"Who is it you are looking for?"

Dominic asked with gritted teeth while fisting his hand tightly when he saw the instant smile on Clement’s face.

"It’s the most beautiful girl in the world that I have ever seen.She was wearing a beautiful red gown and looked like an red angel in that.I am mesmerized by her beauty.I was lucky enough to get the chance to dance with her but she suddenly ran off to somewhere.I don’t know where.And I was trying to look for her because I won’t be able to explain the instant attraction I felt toward her."
