Restaurant

Mary and I spent the entire day simply strolling through various parks. We visited different ones, and now my legs felt numb, and my stomach was growling with hunger. I decided to take off my hat and sunglasses and took a deep breath. In that moment, it felt as if I had finally broken free from a prison filled with painful memories.

I heard the low rumble of Mary's stomach, a sound that echoed through the area. As we locked eyes, our laughter bubbled up, filling the air with joy.

After a brief moment, I guided her towards a restaurant that had caught my eye earlier. Glancing at the watch on my wrist, I realized it was already noon. I hadn't even realized how time had flown by in our delightful company. As we made our way towards our dining destination, I spotted a familiar vehicle nearby.

Bugatti the Black Car.

That car belonged to Andrius. As we approached, I decided to examine it more closely to determine if it was indeed his. My suspicions were confirmed, especially when Mary glanced at it and commented on who it belonged to.

"It's Mr. Andrius' car. Why is it here?" She walked around the entire car to confirm. She then waved and then pointed at the tinted car. "I'm certain it belongs to him."

I thought there was a problem with their company? Why is he here?

I found myself perplexed as my feet led me into the restaurant, where I was greeted by the sight of exquisite chandeliers hanging from the high ceiling. Unaware of its prestigious status, I realized that this was an upscale establishment, possibly with higher prices than what I was accustomed to.

Mary suddenly pulled me aside, redirecting my attention towards her. Despite my surprise, I managed to conjure a smile, assuring her that dining here would be fine. Andrius had given me a card, which I was confident would cover the cost of our meal in this fancy place.

"Come on, let's not stay here! Even a year's salary won't cut it!" She tugged at me, but I remained determined to go inside.

The light emitted a warm orange glow, setting it apart from your average restaurant. Intricate decorations adorned the ceiling, adding a touch of elegance to the ambiance. Stepping into this exclusive establishment brought about a sense of pleasure. However, one question lingered in my mind - where was Andrius?

A servant approached us.

"Good afternoon, ma'am. Do you have a reservation for today?" The waiter, dressed in a casual button-up shirt with a white cloth draped over his arm, asked.

I wanted to ask if someone named Andrius was here. However, aware of the restaurant's policy not to disclose reservation details, I decided not to ask.
