If Nick is trying hard not to go ballistic, Heather's face distorted. She has to admit to herself that the man with her half-sister is also very hot. She didn't have any idea that Stacey has a boyfriend. She only knows that the only male who has been wooing her much hated half-sister is Tyler.

“Hey! Is he your boyfriend?" she asked.

"NO!"

"YES!"

Both Stacey and Blake said at the same time. Stacey looked at Blake with her mouth open while he looks as cool as a cucumber . Nick's eyes are now like slits and Heather frowned.

"Who's telling the truth?"

"We don't need to explain anything to you. "Blake retorted then took Stacey's hand.

Nick stopped him by grabbing his shoulder then gripped his collar which astounded the half-sisters.

"NICK!" Heather tried to stop him by calling his name which made him realize what he is doing.

"What the fuck...??" Blake angrily removed his hands which are on his collar and Nick just let him go.

DAMMIT ALCANTARA! Are you fucking crazy??! he asked himself.

"What the fuck is wrong with you?!" Blake rasped.

That's when Stacey came between them. "Blake please..."

Heather put her hands on Nick's arm. The others inside the bar are starting to be curious, including Billy and his guests.

"Mate! What's wrong?!" Billy headed to them.

Nick ignored him, his eyes are like slits as he glares at Blake. "Watch your mouth with women!" He said through clenched teeth.

He is jealous of him but of course he won't let anyone discover that. He had to make up an excuse why he is mad . He has been trying to hold on to his temper but unfortunately, it is harder than he thought. He just almost lost control again.

"The fuck?? What the hell did I say?" Blake asked with a scowl.

"Blake, come on. Let's go. " Stacey's hands came up his broad chest to stop him because he seems to be ready for a fight too.

Nick gritted his teeth. "You were talking to Stacey's sister! Is that how you treat her family?"

He knows that they might think he's making a mountain out of a molehill but he doesn't give a damn. At this point, he will say anything to anger the other man so he would start the brawl. That will give him a good excuse to beat him up.

Heather felt giddy because Nick is defending her. She went closer to his side and touched his arm. "Nick it's okay. Let them leave. " she suggested.

Blake looked at Stacey . His eyes are full of questions so she moistened her lips before saying , "She is my sister. My half-sister."

Blake sighed and raked his hand through his hair.

His face dark, he said to Heather. "You were very rude to Stacey. How would I know that you are sisters?" he sighed again then he said sorry.

Nick clenched his fists on his sides. How can he smack his face if he already apologized?

Fucking bastard!! He thought.

"Apology accepted. Now go! " Heather said.

Stacey pouted as she looks at her. She wants to avoid looking at Nick again.

Now it is really confirmed. He cares about Heather a lot. He is ready to defend her sister from anyone. Heather is lucky to have him though she doesn't deserve to have an almost perfect man for a boyfriend.

Well, some girls have all the luck..She thought sadly.

She just nodded to Heather and turned to Blake to say, "Let's go."

He took her hand and they were about to leave when they heard Nick's very icy voice.

"Are you really sure about letting your sister go with him? I think your family doesn't even know him. Can you trust him with Stacey? "

Stacey and Blake stopped dead in their tracks and turned to where Heather and Nick are. Both women's mouth are slightly open from surprised. Jim and Billy who are behind Heather and Nick have their foreheads creased . They didn't expect that from their friend.

"It's easy to say sorry.. " He continued to say as if unaware of the other's reaction. His dark eyes are on Blake.

"Let's just forget what happened. Anyway, thanks for the concern. But I am a big girl now. No worries okay? I can defend myself." She said without any emotions in her voice. She then got her phone to call her mother.

Blake just glanced at her and shook his head from left to right .

Heather is in a bad mood. When Stacey left with that man, Nick changed his mind about going out with her. How can she do her plan of seducing him if she can't have him alone with her? She looked around and felt glad that there are now only few people in the bar . Thank goodness for small mercies. At least, she can sit with him and since the others are on another table, she can have him for herself. But she frowned heavily when he chose to sit opposite her instead of next to her. Before she could protest, he asked, " "Heather, tell me about your family."

A light smile touched her lips. He really seems to be interested to get to know her better so she told him about her dad. He just listened to her for a minute or two before talking again.

"Are you and your sister close?" he asked while he looks at her.

Her face almost distorted when he asked her about Stacey. But whether she likes it or not, since she is her half-sister, Nick would want to know about her too. It is her chance to make Stacey look bad in his eyes.

She sighed. "I tried to get along with her but we are so different. " she said with a hint of sadness to her voice.

Nick nodded. He understands her. His older brother and him have differences too.

" I am sure that you are alike in some ways. " he commented. He is fishing out for more information about Stacey.

Heather shook her head from left to right. "No. We have nothing in common. I am more careful with what I do. Unlike her. Actually, she used to work for an ad company but she resigned. I used to tell her never get involved with people at work especially with the boss . Maybe people were gossiping about her and her former boss already."

Nick's back stiffened.

"Now I guess she's doing a part-time job . She goes home really late every night. I also have a feeling that she goes with different men each night. I haven't seen the man she is with tonight. " she sighed to make her acting more convincing. "She has gotten wild lately. I am not even sure if Tyler knows what she has been doing."

Nick's face became grim. He cannot forget that name. Stacey thought he was Tyler the night they had sex.

"Tyler?" he asked while almost gritting his teeth.

"Yes! Tyler is her former boss and probably her boyfriend too!"

Nick clenched his fists which are on the table.
