***6 Months Later***

I barely even remember how it happened, how I stabbed him, crying as if my life was on the line... I told him I wouldn't get mad if he told me the truth, that I wouldn't overexaggerate or do anything rash. But this? This wasn't what I had in mind.

"How could you?" I whispered staring at the knife that was stuck in his tricep, he refused to remove it but obviously there wasn't any pain.

My cheeks stung, my mouth watered, my fist clenched another knife handle, I couldn't even make eye contact with him. It would drive me insane.

"Natalia, I-" He tried to move closer but I held the knife up as a warning.

"If you come anywhere near me, Ryder I will slit your fucking throat."

"What's her name?" I whispered honestly I didn't want to know.

"Kathryn." He held his head down. I scoffed only looking at the ground.

"Do you love her?" My nails dug into my empty hand.

"You shouldn't have to ask me that Natalia."

"Are you really forgetting you you're the one who cheated Ryder."

"You know I don't love her Natalia, I feel nothing for her compared to what I feel for you."

I bit down on my lip hard feeling the blood dribble down my chin.

"I opened up to you, I showed you the darkest part of me, I did what I could to make sure that you could rely on me. I ignored my best friend who said that this wasn't right for me, I devoted myself to you, and this is how you repay me? By fucking some insolent bitch in your office right next to my own."
