He threw me into the bed and I bounced a little, my hair flying all over the place. I pushed my hair back from my face to watch him slip off his shirt. He didn't take his eyes off me and mine roamed over his exposed skin.
He continued and pulled off all his remaining clothes until he was naked before me. He slowly stalked towards me and climbed on the bed.
"Now it's your turn."
The next twelve hours passed by quickly. We spent most of our time in bed together, with only a few meal breaks. Thankfully, the jet had a decent sized shower we both made use of so we left the plane feeling fresh and rejuvenated.
It was only early morning by the time we arrived and we weren't expected to do much for another two days. The witches and Viktor would arrive by tomorrow so until then, we could spend our time however we chose to.
"We should go sightseeing," Kieran suggested. I was currently unpacking our luggage in the fancy hotel. The room was quite large and I wondered how expensive it must have been considering it looked like something out of a Hollywood movie set.
"Oh yeah? Full tourist style with T shirts that say 'I love Romania'?" I asked. He laughed, shaking his head.
"Maybe not the T-shirt's. But we can at least get the hats?" He suggested playfully.
"How about we go hiking through the mountains. They have beautiful scenery and a wonderful landscape," he suggested.
"Yes and I would very much like to visit the local village. I want to explore the culture and food too," It was the first time I had left America and gone overseas and while we weren't here for a holiday, I would make the most of what precious time I'd have with my mate.
We both dresssed in casual clothes, opting for jeans and slightly warmer tops. We left the hotel room and went down to the breakfast bar where they were serving food.
We got quite a few stares, most of them from the vampire visitors. The humans only gave us curious glances. I looked around the room and spotted Daniel, our assigned guard for the trip. He gave me a single nod in acknowledgment.
We sat to eat our breakfast and we were soon lost in our own conversation when I felt someone step up to the table. It was a woman. A vampire woman.
She, of course, was stunning, as all vampires were and had this femme fatale look about her with her black hair and red lipstick.
"So, you two must be the visiting wolves," She gave me a once over, seemingly unimpressed with my outfit before turning her hungry gaze onto my mate. I didn't have to read her mind to know what she was trying to do.
Before I knew it, the day to present our treaty to the court of vampires had arrived. Seraphine, Lilith and Medea had all arrived and Viktor had joined us too. We had several copies of the Treaty, one of which we would hand to the king today.
Viktor would be expected to do most the talking since he was the only vampire amongst us. We were all dressed up in our formal attire, with me wearing all white. I opted for a long simple dress and accessorised with silver items. I also wore my silver crown.
Kieran wore an all black tailored suit, to show his status as my mate, with the crest of our pack pinned to his tie to show he was the alpha of our pack.
Seraphine was also dressed in her formal attire and had purple and green gems in her hair and head band. Medea wore all red, the colours of war and Lilith wore all green, the colours of healing.
Regardless, we were all prim and proper and hopped into the awaiting black limousine. The car was lavish but I was much too distracted to appreciate it. The car ride was relatively silent, everyone else seemingly as distracted as I was.
All too soon, a large castle came into view and the car drove through the thick green forest on a winding road up the mountain. The scenery was stunning and I was glad Kieran and I had gone exploring the last few days. I had even snagged some cute memorabilia to take back home.
Passing through a large stone wall brought me out of my thoughts. The car pulled into an impressive driveway, with a marble fountain right in the center. The statue seemed to depict a couple, with a man bent over and dipping the woman low, a rose in one hand. The woman had her neck bared and the man had his fangs out, ready to bite her.
