"Oh God..." What did I just do? He'd almost killed one of my closest friends, it'd certainly looked like that was what he'd planned on doing and I was thinking about getting naked and sweaty with him? What is wrong with me? He's not even human and I want nothing more than to do the most basic human thing with him. Where the hell had my mind gone?

My head turns towards Trevor and Dunkan where they sit on the ground staring back at me in shocked confusion. Well Trevor is anyway, Dunkan looks like he's about to lose consciousness any minute now. "Are you done snacking on the psycho now or do we need to give you two some alone time?" The bitter undertone in his almost dead voice, suddenly reminds me that only three days ago I'd told him that I wouldn't go to the dance with him because I wasn't interested in getting involved with anyone right now.

"Trevor, I didn't.." The sentence trails off as he shakes his head, tending to the very pale Dunkan. Besides, what could I say? I mean, its not like I should feel like I have to apologize. I haven't done anything wrong, I've only just shoved my tongue down the throat of the man who'd just attacked his brother. God, what the hell is wrong with me? "Should we call an ambulance or something?"

From the exasperated look on Trevor's face my change of hasty change of the subject didn't go as unnoticed as I'd hoped it would. But seriously, what's more important? The fact that I kissed Xavier or the fact that Dunkan's turning into a freak smurf? "No ambulance, I'll be fine, just gotta catch my breath."

"Are you sure?" Trevor asked, the scowl on his face deepening when Dunkan nods his head. "Dunk, I really think we should call the police." Call the police? As in to press charges against Xavier? Trevor and Dunkan wouldn't do actually do that, would they? Wait, would they even be able to press charges when Xavier's not even human?

"Why would you need to call the police?" I admit, it probably wasn't the smartest thing I could have said but its not like my fuzzed up mind is actually capable of thinking of anything else to say.
