"Talk? You want me to talk to this bastard? There's no fucking way, if anything we're going to call the police and have his put in a jail cell where he belongs." Trevor's usually sweet face contorts into one of pure rage as he glares at Xavier, ignoring Dunkan's hand when he lays it on his brother's arm.

"Trevor calm down, I'm fine, alright? There's no sense in starting a fight you and I both know you can't win. Come on, just calm down, okay? We'll just leave and forget what happened today, okay?" Could it be as easy as Dunkan's saying? Could we just forget everything that's happened today? Somehow I doubt it.

"Forget it!? Dunkan do you have brain damage or something? He choked you almost to death, how can you pretend like it didn't happen?" Shock and anger color Trevor's voice as he turns towards Dunkan, shaking his head in exasperation at the pleading look on his brother's face. "Why the hell would you think I could just forget?"

"Because I told you to, damn it. We're going to go home and pretend like nothing out of the ordinary happened today, because I said so. You are not going to call the police or even tell mom and dad about any of this, because I said so. Got it?" What the hell is going on? Any other time Dunkan would be agreeing with Trevor, not trying to cover up what Xavier did, or almost did I guess. But now he's trying to convince Trevor to just let it all go? Am I missing something here?

"Why? And don't even start with the 'because I said so' bullshit, Dunkan. Why the hell are you so damn willing to pretend like the bastard didn't try to choke you to death?" Dunkan sighs at the question, staring past Trevor towards my dad who only inclines his head towards me. Okay, so there's definitely something that I'm missing, now I'm just gonna have to figure out what it is.

"Just trust me on this, alright brother? Maybe I'll explain it to you later." Hell I wish he'd explain it now, maybe that way I'd have an easier time guessing at what the hell's going on. Dunkan and my dad do not get along at all, its almost like how you know the Sun's going to set in the west, things like that are just not supposed to change. And now they're keeping secrets together?

Trevor scowls broodingly, but nods, glaring over his shoulder at Xavier when he chuckles. "Maybe nothing, you're going to explain this shit to me later, Dunkan." There was no threat in his voice, just pure determination and I have a feeling that I don't want to be around when they get to talking.

Eva claps her hands together loudly. "Alright now that whatever the hell is going on is settled, we have a party to get ready for." I open my mouth to protest and she glares down her nose at me. "You're coming, Ari, whether or not you bring blondie over there is your choice, but I've been working on this party for weeks and the guest of honor is not about to weasel her way out it. Am I understood?"
